This aged brotherhood of guardians tear at the spirit of the coastal cloudbursts before releasing them across the Mojave. They are the first to face the icy chill of the northern winter storms. They are tolerant of the dry desert breezes that roll across the low plains and sneak up through the canyons. For hundreds of years they have locked arms to shield the mountain.
